What’s Included in Your Vintage Trailer Stay​

​

  • Restored vintage trailer with charming retro design

  • Clean linens, pillows, and blankets and bed options that sleep up to 5 people

  • Indoor seating/dining area (converts to additional sleeping space in some trailers)

  • Kitchenette with sink, counter space, and basic cookware

  • Potable water hookup (safe for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth)

  • Outdoor seating and picnic table

  • Access to shared campground fire pits and grills

 

Note: Trailers are not equipped with bathrooms or showers.

Check-in and Check-out Times

​

  • Campers can check in starting at 2pm on the day of your reservation

  • Check-out is 11am (this is one hour earlier than the State Park campsite check-out time to allow us to prep campers for the next guests)

Tent Setup Info

​

If you'd like to bring a tent, you’re welcome to set it up next to your reserved trailer.
Please be mindful that:

  • Tents must stay within your assigned trailer site

  • Tents cannot block access to other trailers or communal areas

  • Only one tent is allowed per trailer site

All tent equipment must be removed upon checkout

Trailer Cancellation Policy​

​

  • Cancellations made outside of 14 days will incur an $8.25 Reserve California cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations 7-14 days prior to arrival, guests forfeit 1-night rental reservation rate + $8.25 Reserve California cancellation fee.

  • Cancellations within 7 days of  arrival, guests forfeit the total reservation amount + $8.25 Reserve California cancellation fee.

Please log into your ReserveCalifornia account to manage or cancel your reservation.

Campground Amenities (Provided by California State Parks)

​

  • Restrooms and coin-operated hot showers (walking distance)

  • Potable water stations

  • Picnic tables and barbecue grills

  • Designated fire rings (shared use)

  • Trash and recycling bins

  • Ranger station and campground hosts

  • Quiet hours: 10 PM – 6 AM

Fire Safety & Restrictions

​

  • Campfires are only allowed in designated fire pits

  • No personal fire pits or open flames next to trailers or tents

  • Propane stoves may be used for cooking

  • Fire rules may change based on conditions—check with the park upon arrival

Leave No Trace

​

  • Please help us protect this beautiful coastal area

  • Clean up your site and pack out all belongings

  • Be respectful of your neighbors and local wildlife

Parking Info

​

  • One vehicle per trailer reservation is included.

  • Display your California State Parks pass clearly on your dashboard.

  • Additional vehicles must pay a daily State Park fee.

From Interstate 5 (Southbound):

  • Exit Avenida Calafia

  • Turn right on Calafia

  • Follow Calafia west until it ends at the park entrance
     

From Interstate 5 (Northbound):

  • Exit Avenida Calafia

  • Turn left on Calafia

  • Continue to the entrance of San Clemente State Beach
     

Follow campground signage to your trailer site.
